Wow. It's really hard to stay within your points when you have no vegetables, pudding, yogurt, or 100 calorie packs. These things are my staple foods and I'm running pretty low on all of them. I did pretty well today, controlled my portions and such, but had a weak moment tonight and inhaled a smarties bar with some peanut butter. Crap.
I do have moments when the binge monster drags me behind the bush and talks me into a four or five hundred calories here and there, but he doesn't do as much damage as he used to. I obviously don't have the eating thing under control - we know this by the size of my ass - but I have to say that I eat more mindfully in the sense that I don't buy big bags of chips or pails of ice cream; they are dangerous!
I remember times when Calvin and I would go through the drive thru at 10 o'clock at night, after we'd eaten a good supper at home and each get a burger and fries; that is the prescription for F.A.T.
I guess my point is that I've made some progress over the last year or so, however small it may be, but hopefully it will add up in the end.
