I will NOT be beat, not without a fight anyway. Cleansing co-worker weighed this morning, up 2 pounds. HAH, looks good on her :P. We're going on percentage of weight lost, so I technically only have to lose another pound to steal my lead back. If I keep my pound a week losses up for the next 8 weigh ins, I'll be down to 143 on the work scale, for a total loss of 11 pounds - 7.14%. I really can't see the other 2 being committed enough to pull that off.
Food
toast x 2 + 2 tsp cheese whiz (2.5)
mocha (2)
fiesta veggie soup + crackers (3)
2 small nectarines (2)
sliced cukes (0)
cadbury thin (2)
1.5 lean hamburgers on 1.5 ciabatta buns w/cheese & 0 point condiments (12)
LF fries (2)
30 calf burning, thunder thigh melting minutes on the bike (+2)
Total: 25.5 Points
over by 1.5....oh well. I'm really full, but might treat myself to a steeped tea tonight...or maybe pudding.
Cheater Cheater, I'm gonna beat 'er :)

Weigh In: -1.0
by some miracle, I lost a pound this week. One of the girls lost 2 - the same 2 she's been gaining/losing the whole time - and my cleansing co-worker was down 5. She's decided, after 3 days of fasting, that she isn't going to continue for the full 10 days...surprise; nope!
I'm still pretty annoyed that I could potentially lose the competition to someone who resorts to starvation; hopefully my fear doesn't turn into a reality. We do still have about 7 weeks left, so my steady pound a week losses should hold up in the end.

Semi Domesticated....
Monday, August 6, 2007

The shark proves that I'm not a domestic goddess, however, the fact that I'm excited about my new multi coloured set of stoneware mixing bowls, contradicts that. Everybody needs a good set of these bowls, they'll last forever, and this set in particular was a steal at $14.99!
Nothing more to report, I ate well today; yogurt for breakfast, soup & tea for lunch, and turkey for supper. I watched my portion sizes at dinner tonight, as I have my weigh in tomorrow at work...dum dum dum...

Layzee Blogga
Sorry for my lack of post these last few days, I've been trying to get rid of my various aches and pains via copious amounts of sleep; seems to be working. One of my customers on Saturday was a registered massage therapist, who was telling me that some people have arthritic pain whenever they are stressed or overwhelmed. I would go so far as to say that I am either one of those things, but I took it with a grain of salt and got some sleep; no more late night blogging!
Looks like I'll probably stay the same for tomorrows weigh in - I deserve it. I was pretty bad this week, food wise. It's definitely better than gaining, although I would have liked to keep the 149.8 that I saw on Wednesday.
I'll keep you posted...

I want to cut my hand off!
Thursday, August 2, 2007
Seems I have a pretty nasty case of tennis elbow, probably from the crazy arm movements on the elliptical. Man, is this ever painful; I'm gonna have to avoid the elliptical for a while and stick to the bike or walking....
Work was crazy busy today, but I like it better that way, my day goes by so fast :).
FOOD
oat bran muffin (3)
coffee & creamo (1)
smart ones cheese ziti (6)
large grapefruit (2)
'nuther muffin (3)
Louis sub chicken tenderloin wrap - call it an 8 pointer
small yogen fruz LF chocolate (2)
APs - Ouch, tomorrow....I promise!
Total: 25 points
On another note, I'm pretty annoyed about one of my co-workers who is in the weight loss challenge with me - the one that could lose me $75 or win me $150 - she has decided that she is going to do a 10 day "cleanse," where all she does is drink lemonade. I don't think that's a cleanse; a cleanse to me would mean 2-3 days of just fruits & veggies or something, this is just starvation! I can't compete with that, I won't. We'll see what comes of it, I think she'll cave in and eat after a day or 2, but if she doesn't, I might just bow out of the competition. I'm not going to reward someone for losing weight via starvation, it's just wrong. I'll keep you posted.

Today was an extremely BUSY day at work; the madness started when my first appointment ran half an hour into my second, I am now a doctors office instead of a banker. The customers were really understanding, which was great, and I survived with only a minor headache; also important.
GOOD NEWS - I peeked at the scale this morning because I felt so good yesterday - 149.8 yahooooooo! One mental block overcome, two more to go.
After I read Lindz' blog this afternoon, I decided to make some oat bran muffins, it just so happened that I had some Low Fat Quaker mix- voilla - instant yummy muffins! They are so much more filling with the bran, thanks for the tip Lindz!
Food
yogurt, honey, granola (4)
coffee & creamo (0.5)
fiesta vegetable soup & crackers (3)
oatmeal muffin - no bran (4)
cadbury thin (2)
fish sticks x 4 (4)
celery & 1.5 TB of PB (3)
beans (0)
oatbran muffin (3) - sweeeeeeet!
steeped tea 2 cream + 2 sweetener (3)
APs: Haha, wha?
Total Points: 26.5
